Iconic Tavern offering great meals, hospitality, a refreshing drink, open fires, coffee & cosy ensuite accommodation.

First established in 1885, the pub was initially called the Glencoe Hotel and operated for many years before it burnt down.

Now operated by Kelly & Cassie Swain and Joe Dorrstein keeping the amazing tavern alive.

The Beautiful Tavern offers three rooms with ensuites upstairs and a common area fitted with a window seat, tea and coffee supplies.

Two of the rooms have 1 double bed and 1 single bed with ensuites. The other room consists of 1 Double Bed and ensuite.

The Red Lion Tavern Offers Free Camping in a Paddock behind the pub. There is a shower and toilet block in the paddock for use with a charge of $5 per person for the night due to tank water in use.

We offer free camping with the expectation that the campers will come in and enjoy a beverage or two and maybe a meal to enjoy the atmosphere of this rare tavern.
